Today, we had the privilege of conducting a site visit alongside our contractors Alexander Azzi from Skanska and Kristoffer Flodin from the Port of Gothenburg, to assess the progress of the groundwork for the hydrogen filling station.

Malin Ehrle, Head of Projects at Nilsson Energy, says: "The groundwork is progressing well according to plan, and we expect the station to be fully operational in the beginning of summer 2024. Like its counterpart in Nykvarn, this station will exclusively provide green hydrogen."

Port 6 is an important central logistics hub for heavy vehicles, and various construction projects are underway in the area, including Stena Line's new terminal. With the establishment of a hydrogen filling station nearby, the Port of Gothenburg´s goal is to facilitate the transition to hydrogen-powered vehicles for both transportation and machinery in the local area.
