The sun was shining and the band was playing. Several hundred children, men and women attended the inauguration ceremony where the Mayor Mr Abrahamson "cut the cord" to mark the formal opening of the solar powered off-grid RE8760. Mariestad has received lots of well deserved attention for its bold climate action.
