Nilsson Energy is excited to see its customer Mariestad featured in the first edition of H2 View. The picture shows the first off-grid and public hydrogen filling station. The Mariestad project is an inspiration for emission free infrastructure solutions with its ability to both deliver locally produced hydrogen from solar and its ability to regulate the local grid.

Under årets Almedalsvecka har Nilsson Energy delgivit sina erfarenheter bl. a på den så kallade “Vätgas- och bränslecellsarenan” arrangerad av Vätgas Sverige. Under veckan har det varit stort fokus på energipolitiska områden med stor relevans för Nilsson Energy. Det har handlat om vem som kommer att äga nät och energiförsörjning framgent, hur man skall klara vidare infrastruktur- och samhällsutbyggnad avseende tillgången till energi. Möjligheten till effektreglering har även varit ett hett debatterat ämne. Att som Nilsson Energy kunna leverera nyckelfärdiga systemlösningar som adresserar ovan nämnda utmaningar och som även kan ta till vara på genererard värme visar sig vara av allt större intresse för såväl offentliga som privata kunder. Begrepp som robusthet och försörjningstrygghet i kombination med fossilfri energi överensstämmer också med kundernas önskemål och Nilsson Energys leverans.

The first off-grid and public H2 refilling station is now inaugurated in Mariestad!
The sun was shining and the band was playing. Several hundred children, men and women attended the inauguration ceremony where the Mayor Mr Abrahamson “cut the cord” to mark the formal opening of the solar powered off-grid RE8760. Mariestad has received lots of well deserved attention for its bold climate action.

As of March 4 Nilsson Energy is happy to welcome Adrian Holmgren as a new team member. Adrian works as a Technical Project Manager supporting Technical Director Hans-Olof Nilsson.
Adrian has a background from the Wind Power industry and has among other things worked with service and maintenance. A much valuable experience for Nilsson Energy´s future growth.

All the modules making out RE8760 are in place, including three containers of hydrogen storage. The photo might seem a bit gray, but soon the sun will start producing local and emission free hydrogen for vehicles to fill up and for the local grid to be regulated.

Nov 23. 2018 is an important date for Nilsson Energy as it marks the day when the first container based RE8760 was delivered to the hydrogen filling station in Mariestad. When commissioned the hydrogen filling station will be powered by the solar park adjacent to it and hydrogen for transportation will be locally produced by electrolyse from water.
